The
Fertilizer Institute: Humanity Against Hunger Challenge -
Flash website
theSOULwithin helped Des Plaines, IL based agency - Fergus
Peters realize this website concept in Flash for their client.
FP's design was based on an African theme where children would
be able to watch a slideshow, then go through 3 separate casestudies
where they would ultimately learn and be quizzed on how
nutrients in the soil can help or hinder plant growth. Students
were then able to fill out their quiz online, refer back to
a Field Manual, and print out their tests to receive an award.
The result is a very engaging interactive environment for
the student audience.

Rush
Medical Center - Flash CD-Rom - 35 MB DOWNLOAD (mac & pc)
Used a tool to hire new nursing graduates, this CD-Rom was passed out at job fairs on a mini cd on a Rush lanyard. The artwork on the
CD iteself was of mock visitor pass to visit the hospital. Once they popped in the CD, they were taken to a virtual bulletin board that acts as the main navigation where different elements on the board represented different sections within the CD. The concept was to imply that the users were really inside Rush and was able to explore the environment in a fun interactive way. We also just thought
it would really cool to see how the idea of talking around the water cooler could be used in recruitment...

Schlumberger - Flash CD-Rom - 8 MB DOWNLOAD (mac & pc)
This CD-Rom was used to recruit engineers and programmers for this France based oil technology and consulting firm. The concept of "World-ready" was derived because of the nature
of travel and research within the company. Employees could possibly be working in remote areas of the world looking for oil or working within their offices around the world on a given project. The experience design here was centered around getting the feel of the working environment across, field based tools and objects for the engineers who may be traveling and technology based navigation
for the programming side.
