This project was for a Phase 1 development which rolled out years ago. At the time, this website proved to be one very complicated e-commerce site. Harley-Davidson makes its money from its dealer network,so to attempt to sell products directly would severly impose on that relationship. The solution to that problem was to force users to enter just their zipcode early in the shopping process,before they check out. The entire site would become branded to a local dealer for the remainder of the shopping experience,right down to the invoice itself. With over 5,000 participating dealers, it was quite an interesiting project.
